English: this is my own version of what bullying looks like (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
I'm really trying to resist going for about twenty easy punchlines here, but:
The Kardashian family has formally gone on record against school bullying.
Here is the Public Service Announcement..
Reality TV in a dangerous world! I can't make this stuff up.
The fun irony is, in that being portrayed as celebrities living glamorous lifestyles, their programming is probably responsible for some bullying. It’s a great issue to take up, but perhaps by the wrong person in this case.

Yes the possible number of punchlines is amazing, but given the gravity of the topic, I posted it in the blog to help spread the word.
By the way, their dad was a bigtime lawyer. Not Bruce Jenner, the first guy.

Huh, I didn’t actually know that, about the lawyer dad. Don’t get me wrong, I actually respect them for taking up the issue, I’m just astounded by the inherent irony in it. Then again, at a young age, I suppose teen idols proclaiming bullying won’t do could very well positively impact bullying levels. That’s pure speculation on my part - I’m just out of touch enough with popular culture that I’m not exactly sure who the Kardashians’ target audience even is (if they even really have one)- but one can certainly dream.
